We know why people have ACL injuries though.The particular movements, the physical conditioning, the bodily awareness, it applies to all equally, only women are more susceptible. Anyway, there are plenty of people fairing worse off than you down here, male and female. Make more money and you'll get better treatments, but even then women will still have more ACLs.

People don’t just think men’s football is the priority. It IS the priority. It’s what brings the money in. It’s what pays for women footballers wages. Attendances at women’s games a shambolic. There’s only women’s games televised because the media companies want to be seen to be doing something for women’s football. Women footballers who want men’s footballers wages are living on a different planet. They simply don’t bring the money in.

I’ve seen several women matches and I’m surprised how unappealing most of the matches are. Everything seems slowly and powerless. The “sprints”, the passes, the tackles, the goalkeepers, the shots, the goals…. When women jump for a header it seems earth is pulling harder on them then on men.
