One after the other up they go. Never seen, or heard of, this behavior before. An obvious way to keep safe from foxes in the wild?

You think this is good trying spreading sawdust in a horse arena been doing this stuff for 60 years my dad showed me how now my son does the same thing not everyone can do it I could spread with my truck on drive and drop my box and not miss a rock was on a job with five guys I was the only one who knew how to spread rock so I finished the job takes time always be aware of your surroundings look up wires tree limbs we had a sand and gravel company could spread sand also they too me I could thread a needle with my truck no brag just fact I took my single axle dump truck and put gravel in a parking ramp , hauled out of John Deere when they were making paint plant recovery bigger thing didn't like was spring time weather changed and drive down road and hit a frost boil that's cover on top and nothing under it hit one of them time to call a wrecker to get pulled out are bring out dozer and pull out myself but had to take chains and hook front end to rear end if the truck didn't have tow hooks sometimes still did both when I was a kid my tonka toys were the thing I used to load trucks with just like a farm boy did it all .

Door also appears to short top to bottom for the chickens you have. I would fence them in for awhile after making the changes and then they will do it by habit.

A secure door in the front also helps prevent predators. Close once everyone is in….

Are there perches inside and a ramp to the front door. If the spacing of the perch is to close to the wall they will not use it. Definitely a ramp to the door also. Looks to me they can’t find the way in …

We have one that has been sitting for at least 40 years, I may try and get her going someday. Plus a sickle bar that has been sitting too. Yours looks like it is working fine.

Drove a dump truck for 33 years, favourite part was chaining off gravel and stone for laneways and gravel roads , didn’t need to touch it just compact it

How many tons does that dump truck haul? I think I had to pay $250 for 6 tons delivered and I can’t find anybody with a bigger truck although I don’t need as much stone as that driveway needed.

Seems like you your dozer blade solid stone doesn’t go over in front of the pipe. Go down the middle then angle the blade so it runs off towards the middle. Can adjust to how much runs off to the shoulder. I mean no big deal. maybe you want a little stone in the ditch?.

@@MikeOrazzijust check all of the fluids, grease, check the chains good twine. My Dad ran it at lower RPMs about the same as the video above. We don't miss too many bales. Maybe 10 per thousand but if the hay gets a little tough (damp) the right billhook doesn't let go of the twine as well. Oh and sharp twine knives help. Good luck!!

You need a ramp for them to walk into the coop, or a hole above the lower ledge the birds are walking on. I assume there isn't one to keep cats out.

So we had a hurricane go though and some went into the coop. After that pasted they went back to the tree. Once the leaves fell off the tree they all went into the coop. All but the rooster ended up staying in the coop. He would be in the tree or right on top of the coop. You could try keeping them inside the coop for longer 3-4 weeks so they get to know it's there home.

I have one of these old rascals. You have probably changed by now ; but the idler sprocket for the feeding forks should be on top the #60 drive chain. Had to put all new roller chain on mine , it works very well.
