How can I efficiently bake all the lights in the environment and use them from the lightmap, while dynamically using only the character's shadow? Also, how can I effectively utilize a custom skybox texture? When I tried it in a racing game, the skybox reflection appeared black in the Android preview... It would be fantastic if you could publish a tutorial for a car racing demo that uses static shadows throughout the environment but dynamically shows only the car's shadow, with beautiful reflections.

oof. Learned modular characters exist and to use Android previews and texture atlasses.. x.x Gonna watch the Q&A but last year's Unity talk was much better, and the previous Unreal talk was basically "Unreal 4.2.6 sure is ooooooold" and a ton of anecdotes about building their game. I have one more GDC talk left and am trying to decide between UE5 - which I'm very familiar with - and Unity which is the obvious choice by all means but is not as familiar to me. I used UDK and UE4 so it's 8 months of Unity vs 14 years of Unreal x.x
