Bro casually skipped my home station Brookland-CAU! There’s a giant painting! They have farmers markets weekly! They have a shuttle that heads to the hospital district! How dare you good sir…

This video brings me back; my grandma lived near the rear entrance to Franconia-Springfield, and when I was real young we’d walk over to that cul-de-sac and watch them building the station. And occasionally when visiting she’d take me into DC, boarding at Van Dorn and transferring to YL at National Airport. Aside from the dead of winter we’d always transfer at the airport because up until they blocked the view with Terminal 2 you used to be able to watch the planes take off from the platform!

You missed so many stations that have so much history behind them💯🥴 The cathedral is literally apart of Brookland station, along with courts and judicial branches at judiciary square✅It was a decent video but let’s give people that don’t live here an ACCURATE run down & descriptions 👍🏾

Very well done, indeed! The balance of facts, features, architecture, and construction techniques appeal to both rail fans and the public alike

I've watched a few of your videos and while I do find them interesting, I get frustrated because you fail to consistently underscore the utility of a given station - namely, where does it get you? What can you easily access from a given station? That, I think, would make the videos more compelling and helpful.

You didnt mention how at Rhode Island avenue station they moved high ranked black Civil War vets to Md. All the bodies were not moved. Simplu disrespectful. If you telling the truth tell it right!

i love this series! when you run out of lines, i’d love to learn more secrets of the metro system- like all the different train wraps that exist, the design changes from the old model cars to the new models, and more historic events that are related to the metro. research i could do on my own, sure, but you capture facts in these videos so well! i’m a relatively new metro rider, but a PG County native. i watch these videos on my metro commute!! i got so excited when i discovered these having just started regular metro-ing! Thanks for all the work you put in these videos.

Alas, when we made the video we did not have any secrets to share about Brookland, Van Ness, Cleveland Park (my home station!), Tenleytown, or Judiciary Square stations. However, since then we have found some great fun facts for these stations that we will share in an upcoming "Bonus Secrets of the DC Metro" video! Stay tuned!

Really enjoyed your videos so far. Are you waiting for more work to be done on Silver line? I haven’t ridden the entire Silver line out to IAD yet, but it looks like a very pretty above ground ride from East Falls Church (my stop), through McLean/Tysons and out to the airport. Great videos!

@@andyontrack Awesome and can’t wait to watch it! I can’t emphasis enough how excellent the IAD metro drop off/pick up is. I would recommend providing details on how to go from IAD stop underground into the airport, but you’ve probably already got that covered! 🙂
