She has some similarities with her grandfather. People like ramdev baba appear yoga easy and he tells Everyone can master it quickly. Bks is very different from other yoga gurus.

It's truly inspiring to listen Abhijata teacher, who is the daughter of a globally renowned master, share her insights in an interview. Her participation in the Q&A session, providing beautifully articulated and insightful answers, highlights not only her deep understanding but also the rich legacy she carries forward. Her responses were not only thoughtful but also a testament to the wisdom and knowledge she embodies. Thanks for sharing.

Loved the video. She is amazing, so much practical wisdom in a young person. Great perspective on perfection. Am reminded of what Guruji says in Light on Life. “Perfection is ultimately only with God. We are creatures who can only dream of perfection and this dream that ignites the effort needed to transform…” Very well conducted by the interviewer too

How inspiring to hear Abhijata! It's like listening to Guruji! ❤ Very good question: why should the assessment be the only motivation to meet? Food for thought. As for the myriad of yoga styles... It would be interesting to know who the guru of Beer Yoga was! 😂 Some students study for years only to realise it was just a money business. No yoga to be found. I always felt sorry for them. Perhaps students of newly born styles should ask their teacher if the style they teach has any relation to the classical tradition. Iyengar yoga was revolutionary but steeped in tradition. Great interview! Much love to all at Maida Vale! Did my TTC there long time ago!

I am new to yoga. Yesterday was two months of consistent yoga practice for me. Every single day, anywhere from one to two (sometimes 3, 4) sessions. I have scoliosis and all my muscles have been tight. But in the two months of consistent yoga practice the flexibility I have attained is above and beyond from what it was two months ago. My endurance has increased and I feel better mentally than ever before. My hope is that at the age he is, I'm still able to be flexible. Yoga has given me much purpose and much understanding about self care.

You can see that I’ve shown so many movements… my body is not in one piece. … we’ve got about hundreds of joints in our body. As each and every joint has its own freedom, only I know what freedom is. *[When] my body is in pieces, [] my mind is free. And for the average person, [their] body is in one piece, [causing] their minds are in pieces.* I love the bold part of that quote.

ahahahaha... no one resists to stage. Not even a Yogi guru... the pomposity of the whole act is comical. That's the power of any "religion". Any group followers of any holy sandal have a deep need for it. A pompous guru is the very start of the phenomena. Lyengar could perfectly star on Life of Brian. 🤣
