If you haven't seen wicked on Broadway, i recommend going to see that first. Then going to the movie. I promise I've seen it on Broadway and it was amazing. Its a show you'll want to see again, same with this movie. Cant wait for it. ❤❤❤❤❤

Was lucky enough to see it in 2006 with Megan Hilti and Eden Espinoza. Sadly Carole Kane was out that night and the understudy played Madame Morbal. But I got to see Ben Vereen as the wizard. Would add to your point, but the book is also wonderful as where it’s sequels. But CAUTION ⚠️ 🚨‼️the source material is not child friendly. i would argue it has more in common with game of thrones just fyi.
