That is NOT a magic glass. Instead, it was two prisms bonded together. Prisms reflect light in a quite interesting way, which is the reason the light from the laser is reflected into two ways, straight and to the left. Also, it's NOT a holographic cube glass like it was said on the title.

It's a beam splitter cube Alternatively you can just hold a piece of shiny thin clear plastic at a 45 degree angle over your phone screen it's basically the same thing

I got mine 2 days ago. Unpacked it, did the full setup and connected it. Took a total of 8 minutes from start to finish and it is controlling my Kobra 2 perfectly. The ONLY improvement I would love to see would be a separate app instead of only using a browser to control. But other than this I can't complain. I'm perfectly happy to swap SD cards between my laptop to my printer once I slice a model but this module really is a great way to do it. Now, add in an integrated wifi camera with an app to control it all and you will really have an amazing product. I'm going to test this out on my Geeetech Mizar and if it works there I'll be buying another node max.

This is a dope idea, and I've been wanting to develope a similar form of augmented reality Would you be interested in a chat? I have several game ideas, a number of design ideas for a future gadget, and and a game series i want to make. For now though, i want to see if i can add some accellerometer tech, and make like a 3d augmented reality space invaders where you have a shield and blast lazers at flying aliens and demons 😅

A similar game is already in game store. Called space invaders 3D or something. You can use your Phone and enemys will be placed in the real world with help of your camera. If you get these old things where you can strap your phone to your head your good to go.
