This is even more meaningful if we take into account Evan's statements about having an obsession about KD Lang while being a teenager.

Evan and Zane never fail to bring passion, beauty and brilliance to their shows. Evan's brilliance is that she can express the depths of her soul with both power and grace while drawing upon her expansive love and knowledge music. And Zane's screaming guitar perfectly mirrors Evan's jaw-dropping vocals while evolving into his own expression of power and grace. I love these two artists. Together, they make my heart sing with joy.

Its a pity I didn't have a chance to meet her or see her sing. Loved this Disney song too. She must be fighting a battle still after seeing her Instagram posts since February. While I've also faced domestic violence since I was young, I can understand the struggles and the trauma that stayed while growing up. I just want Evan to know she's not alone and we're all behind her. And when I meant she's not alone, I don't mean it superficially, but truly. As long as you're in someone's thoughts always, you are never truly alone.

She has everything : beauty, talent as an actress and as a singer. Love her since I saw her in "Mildred Pierce", with Kate Winslet, and Woody Allen's "Whatever works". Those two works show her amazing versatility

I remember hearing her sing for the first time on Once and Again. She was a lot younger, and didn't have this voice. I wonder where she had gone because that voice is the Sound of Painful Experience. I know she was assaulted when she was younger, so that's probably where that voice came out from.

She overdid it. But the audience had to clap because she’s a celebrity.
@KnockManJo4 жыл бұрын
That she overdid is you subjective unpopular opinion, especially if you consider the original song. So I won't argue with that. But she is objectively an amazing singer, and that's also why audience clap; you know? Good intonation, breath control, tone and convincing emotions. Those are all objective parameters of singing ability, and she is great at that. That's also why she's a celebrity, you're implying that she doesn't deserve to be treated like good singer. That's objectively wrong, sorry.
