@@bettyhumphrey2819 hello, the thing about hairstyles is you have yo take into account your hair texture. Whatever your texture is once wet if it doesn't look like the woman in the videos density and texture wise it wouldn't have the same affect but you can wear curls. Anyone can. Its just gonna be your version modify how many rollers you use. Possibly less rollers since you may have a looser curl pattern and don't need to control the hair at the level I needed to for this client

I have wanted two strand twists on my fine, thin hair and was afraid that it would look a mess. So glad I saw this video!! My question is did she come with her hair air dried or you washed it and then used a blow dryer? I just want to be able to communicate it correctly when I ask for this style. Thanks so much!!
@SuchANatural24 күн бұрын
All clients get washed. Even if your stylist don’t wash and you go in air dried request you can get similar effect from air dried hair just no heat dried hair

@SuchANaturalАй бұрын
Your hair can look good too☺️I’ve actually cracked the code in helping people with finer hair achieve fuller looking twists. The key is to air dry the hair. Using either actual fresh air after it’s freshly washed or the blow dryer on its coolest setting with a diffuser attachment or directional attachment. After that proceed to twist but be careful not to twists too large. Small to medium twists will work. Best wishes 💕

I wore My 2 strand twists for 2 weeks and I look cray cray how does she carry hers for 7 weeks and it looks this neat
@SuchANaturalАй бұрын
Well you have to like natural hair and all its phases for one. Just because a style is aged doesn’t mean it’s ugly. If you can’t embrace that you’ll either have to learn how to or just spend money more frequently on your hair services. Also by having a consistent moisture regiment in between services can help you feel like your hair looks good even if it’s been in a little while. Average time frame for regular sized two strand twists is 3-5 weeks mini twists (not pictured here) last 5-7 weeks I don’t recall saying 7 weeks in the video and if I did that was the time frame she kept them in not the suggested length of time to wear the style. Enclosing the mini twists I just referrred to last that long because you can wash them without feeling like the style gets messed up
@toksakinyemi7350Ай бұрын
@@SuchANatural ok. Right.

What products do you suggest to keep the hair from curling up during the process?
@SuchANaturalАй бұрын
Natural hair curls. Any product can enhance that so it’s nothing that can stop curly hair from curling. However if you are intending on having a more uniform look like twists in this video and you have a looser curl pattern it is best to do your twists on air dried hair so it retains the volume. Also be light with product per section because it doesn’t take that much anyway☺️
@user-hy1ct4ik5qАй бұрын
Wow I admire how you use your fingers to part the sections. I tried it on my hair as well while twisting. I have dense hair with fine strands so i need to add hair because it dont last long with my own hair.
@SuchANaturalАй бұрын
I have a variety of clients with the same combination. You don’t need added hair. You need to adjust the size you’re doing your twists and also air dry your hair before twisting them for added volume. Give the extensions a break and try that you’ll never look back 💕

They only know how to give a ponytail, high pony, low pony, side pony.. I'm all ponied out! I'll try this technique 👍🏼

Wow your in mi. Great does this style lock the hair? The reason I’m asking I done this style on my daughters hair before and after like one week her hair began a loc and I do not want my hair to lock.
@SuchANatural7 күн бұрын
@@jameahunter22 her hair didn’t loc. she was either swimming and got caught in the rain and let it air dry and it got tangled or she didn’t moisturize it little if at all and it got very dry in addition the natural course of tangling our hair does normally. With knowledge these things are easily resolved. Water from a spray bottle and conditioner to take down. Very simple, they weren’t locs after a week. The bigger picture is focusing on a consistent moisturizing regiment so the hair is lubricators during the length of time wearing the style. Will be like butter when taking down if moisturized while wearing. Additionally, locking is an intentional. If you’re wearing a style that’s separate from trying to loc. locs take 6-12 consecutive months of intentionally leaving a style in as your starter loc set. If you are wearing a style you wear the style until you’re done. As mentioned in the title two strand twists can last 3-5 weeks

@SuchANatural2 ай бұрын
Yes, twist your hair better. It takes time but you really have to make a concerted effort to firmly control the hair from root to end. Can’t be impatient or rushing. You also have to accept that the puff will be there eventually regardless and there’s nothing wrong with it but starting a fresh set you just have to be more precise. Firmly grasp it, Patrick from SpongeBob voice 😅🥰
