Magnesite is a little harder than Calcite, but Quartz which is in White Buffalo stone is very hard. This stone takes a great polish & cuts well. :) Thanks!

hi there! Turquoise actually comes in a really wide ranges of colors. The most common are blue & green, and different mines have matrix - the patterns, lines and splotches from the host rock - some are completely solid color, like Sleeping Beauty Turquoise from Arizona. Wherever you buy your jewelry, the seller should tell you if it's turquoise or stone treated to look like turquoise. If you take your bracelet to a local gemologist or jeweler, they may be able to tell you if it's turquoise or treated.
