I hope this was a casual conversation, cuz it sure as hell ain't an interview. Fans are looking for more than one-word answers--get with the program, Benoit!

Diesel, Undertaker, Sid, Davey Boy, Austin… these guys showed they could WORK because Bret set the board. Bret was special and a lot don’t see why… but in short, if you beat Bret Hart in the squared circle, you were over with the crowd. If Bret beat you, somehow you went over with the crowd. I can’t think of another star who had that kind of magic. Shawn didn’t even want to put over Austin who was white hot at the time and had to be threatened to drop the title… man is not made of the same stuff.

It's a tricky scenario, because you can admire his wrestling, you can be a supporter of that, and that legacy needs to be kept alive cause you really can't erase history. But earasing Chris Benoit the person, was the right move.

Chris was gonna die anyway the damage was already done and he was going to die in 10 or 6 months he'd been doing the diving headbutt and getting hit in the head for 22 years he was gonna die regardless the sad part is that he decided to take his family then himself..

I think that it's appropriate to separate performer from someone's personal life. What Benoit did was wrong yes, but because of that I don't think it's right to just erase all his accomplishments and pretend that he never existed, as is WWE's case.
@willyupshaw5 ай бұрын
I think it's simple. Vince didn't want to give the money back, and he didn't cancel the show for that reason.

I just came across this after having seen this story a few times and I had no idea of the remarkable transformation that this young lady went through before she died. I had always felt bad because of what was taken from her by the accident but seeing this made me so glad that she really did get out there like she talked about in the show. But it looked to me like she must have really made some more amazing progress after the show with maybe more surgeries or therapy so that she could do the wrestling. She looks so normal in the pictures, and beautiful. Good for her.
