Thanks for making a tutorial about how to make this cheap but beautiful Japanese 🏯 house I was looking for a simple house video but I couldn't find one that does have expensive stuff like concrete quartz bricks and other wood types that I don't have yet but now that I found this one its perfect for me and am going to build it in my hardcore world

Built this in java 1.20.6 using the 2wide one but without the filter. It seems to eat up items cause I threw 36 stacks of sand onto the top and it finished depositing into the chest and only got 16 stacks. what could be the issue there?

I would double-check the redstone and also make sure the items didn't end up somewhere else somehow. I just tested the 2-wide version without a filter on 1.20.6 and couldn't reproduce that issue.

@@TheBlackBeltPanda didnt add redstone, my frient. thats what I meant by "without the filter". so what I did was, I built the base section of the 2 chests and 6 hoppers withthe hopper cart in the middle of the hoppers as the 2x2 version is set up, then the hopper cart section above and didnt add redstone item filter. (all by the way with nothing eles around it) and then a block above the topmost hoppercart and a block aboce that again, dropped the items on the block2 topmost higher above the hopper cart(so the itens didnt get sucked through the block) dropped 36 stacls onto it, broke the block and waited. 16 stacks into the chest at the bottom, nothing else coming through.

I'm on bedrock and had to use the 2 wide for my guardian farm because the buffer trick doesn't work so my bottom minecart hopper clogs, but it works perfectly! thanks for this!

with single ones, it is better to keep a distance, because the signal of one mc-hopper (signal over 3) interferes with neighboring mc-hoppers. Very good material :)

I love it!! My bf and I have a realm together and his base is Japanese themed, so I built this near our shopping district and it’s perfect! I put item frames down with the bowls of soup like place mats and added some candles on the counter, the banners made it look so cool!

Omg! That’s epic! I wish I found this before I spent 2 days building and troubleshooting my current double farm…. Maybe I’ll do this upgrade next week when I’m less burnt out with it. A note about the wall width, if the asymmetry bothers you, you can place torches all along the wall so each section has that pylon bulge. This will also slightly decrease lag because the engine won’t be working on shifting light levels as items are processed in each section 😸🤘

14:30 Im on the 1.20.72 update on bedrock xbox. However i put the slab activator rail first then the hopper rail as u did by block by block and the rail next to the hopper minecart rail keeps switching side ways on the bottom and its not working right. Does it have to do with the update?

10:29 When items reach that certain level that causes the top hopper to not release any more items and the bottom hopper will lock, wouldn't that mean that a certain number of the desired item never make it through to the end?

Can someone explain to me why we need that middle rail that need to be perpendicular to the inclined rails? The rail just snapped to the inclined ones no matter what I do so I'm hoping to find some alternative.

It has to do with Minecraft picking which rail connects to which based on cardinal directions. Basically if you rotate the setup 90 degrees it'll work.

How would you get this to work with items that only stack to 16? The second hopper minecart empties the first one way too fast. I've experimented with observers to shorten the period the second hopper minecart is unlocked, but most of those experiments either lock up very easily, break the filter, or unlock and break adjacent filters. I have tentatively found a method that works (at least it hasn't broken anything yet) using a pair of observers facing each other toggled with a sticky piston, but wondered if someone might have a more elegant solution. NB: I'm trying to get it to fit into more or less the same physical space.

OMG!! you are a life saver!! i have a system in the end which because auto concrete factories didnt work in 1.20.1 (turning concrete from sand duper into concrete automatically) i had to auto sort the concrete from sand i was duping and then put it into a manual concrete converter and with 2 of the 36k duper farms running it immediately backed up completely! the storage system i had didnt back up too badly cause it was designed for bulk items but because of where i buil the concrete farm i only had about 4 blocks and a single circular hopper didnt work. thank you so much!!!

the only problem for me, that kind of ruins the whole idea, is that i have a portal based guardian farm, so all the items end up in the nether where the water system is impossible... and since it is portal based, the production rate is insane and I haven't been able to find a proper sorting system that doesn't keep stacks upon stacks of items lying on top of hoppers because every single one is full within minutes.... if anyone has a solution it would be very appreciated.

Nice One! I swap the Composter and the gray carpet over the fire with Cooking Pot and Stove from Farmer's Delight ^^ I just add a vanilla Smoker and add a Villager to it :)

Is there a way to get the 1 wide version working on 1.20.1? The 2 wide works fine but some update has messed with minecarts and now they seem to just yank everything out of the top hopper minecart including the filter

The comparator isn't being updated fast enough. That's the issue.
