As a rockets fan born in 96 this is the moment that made me f**king hate the lakers. Kobe and Gasol deserve all the praise they get but Fischer has always been a piece of sh** human and showed it as a coach too. Glad he’s not a part of the Association.

That was truly a beautiful block. He was able to maneuver his hand to get just right spot on the front side, all while running from behind.

Doug Collins is knowledgeable but he was doing way too much meat riding in this clip. Cheap shot doesn't equal "tough". Fisher wouldn't have done that to Artest.

I’m getting chills. I remember this series well. Artest’s earned Kobe’s respect between his play and how he handled himself..so much so he recruited Artest to join LA the next season and they won a ring together. I like this Lakers championship squads too, all workhorses (except Bynum lol)

Lakers died when kobe retired not the other way around. Right now the "Lakers" lost their shine (their uniform is not gold), lost their home (while it's the same building the name isn't) and there are is no one in that team with edge.

There was a lot of buildup before Fisher flattened Scola. Scola had been playing dirty all night, and refs were missing a lot of the calls. It got to the point where the crowd was really getting worked up, seeing LA take a ton of dirty fouls, with refs not addressing it. Fisher was well known as being a team leader, and he stepped up here. He knew he was going to get thrown for that foul, but trusted his team would finish off Houston without him. He sent Scola the message, if the refs weren't going to do anything Fisher was. He flattened Scola, got the accolades from his team, and the adoration of a crowd that knew how much Fisher meant to us. I remember watching this game, seeing Fisher commit the foul, and thinking "THAT is how you stop Scola from continuing to play dirty", and it did.

The only thing that I really don't like about Kobe is his dirty plays he's going to give a hard cheap shot on a player that is going to outsmart him
