The only thing is that it’s pretty slow for a 50-60k car. As a previous scatpack owner it’s slower, but it can hit corners a bit better than a scatpack would. It’s a diver

@@HarisCars at current msrp no. You can get a scatpack, m340i, Mustang, ss. At $30k-$35k I’d definitely recommend.

You can still get a small amount of hp on stage1. For example on my N/A 520i you get around 15hp and your fuel consumption is lowered by 10%. That's a win/win situation in my books.

@@HarisCars Win win for sure i dont want to start argument, but gotta admit Turboed engines are efficient to ecu remaps, my example i have 1.8t and by basic remap "stage 1" gained 50hp and 80nm

To be honest I like the new 8 series, but they are overpriced when buying new.

@@HarisCars well I also think it's the best current bmw (and well designed) but it misses specialness. As a 6 series it would be okay, but an 8, I expect top tier luxury of bmw. Not even massage seats as an option or any quirky feautures like no b pillars. Imagine list price of the thing is well over 200'000 Euros if you spec it with options. An S class coupe had much more to offer. Same pricing as an M5 would have been accaptable, but then again there's the 8 series gran coupe, fairly no difference to an m5 beside the design. In my opinion bmw missed an opportunity, but never the less still a great car, get a lot for the used price with low mileage

True, because diesel engines tend to have more torque than the petrol engines. And efficiency wise you are correct, but you'd still be driving a diesel. Have you ever though about why don't they make sport or performance cars with diesel engines?

​@@HarisCarsIt's because they would not sell. They are customer focused instead. Have you heard of Audi's 5.5L diesel v12 engine which won the le mans races. That was a piece of art crafted by the Audi team. There are quite a lot of diesel performance engines. The BMW M57, Alfa Romeo 2.4 JTDm, the old school OM606 and more to name and when you said 'you'd still be driving a diesel', have you heard a well tuned diesel? If you'd close your eyes you'd probably be positive it's a petrol.. but it's not. and that's where the fun starts :)
