Wow, that's exactly the project i needed, it is awesome 🤯 right now i have wpl with many upgrades but dont perform well so instead of expendingmore money on it started to think about a different option and this is the best one, curious about does exist a way to get the parts list without the need of buying the file, i would like to check all parts required and them buy the files when have all them, I'm planning to buy a roll of nylon or petg cf for try it on my printer so thinking these materials would be great for this project

Thanks for visiting, my friend. The cost of 3D printing is affordable, but the cost for the drivetrain, including the axles, is not exactly cheap. I've done a lot of driving tests, and the durability of the chassis and body (3D printed) was really good. The climbing ability was also pretty decent. Great video. Congratulations, you are a master. I am trying to make a RC mechanism to put a gimbal on top, specifically the Ronin RS 4. Because of its weight I know I will need to put big wheels on it. Could you advise me ? Thank you very much and go ahead.

If you need to mount a relatively large gimbal, the RC car should be quite big, and it would be suitable to use a product from a reliable manufacturer with a sturdy chassis and drive system. In my opinion, the Traxxas Summit would be a good choice. It seems suitable for mounting a gimbal on its chassis. It would also be helpful to refer to the opinions of other advanced users.

Nice design. Do you have a background in games or vfx? For the type of work you did here I think it’s a good candidate for giving it a go in fusion360 if you want. For a max user it’s frustrating as hell and feels like starting over with 3d. But basically you start with a sketch (splines) then you can extrude that into a body (object). Booleans actually work which is nice. You get a timeline instead of a modifier stack but it’s not as bad as the history in maya, it makes sense. You create a new ”component” for every part. And that has its own sketches, objects and history. I think using both softwares is the winning strategy. 👍

What brands axles you use ?

I bought axles from the brand RS-RC for the video, but the quality of the gears and bearings was really terrible. So I replaced the gears and bearings. The durability of the plastic axle housing was quite good, so I kept using the RS-RC rear axle housing. The durability of the front axle housing was also good, but I replaced it with a KYX metal housing.

@@brsrc759 KakaoTalk is a popular messaging app in Korea. When a message arrives, it makes a distinctive sound, similar to the sound you hear when a video is played at high speed. I edited the video at 12x speed, and you can hear bits of speech here and there. It seems that sound resembled the KakaoTalk notification sound.

It is a design that minimizes locking under the body, but it is burdensome that does not look like a car. That's why I designed it to cover that part. It's a bonus to give you the fun of moving
