I am Pakistani. I looked at the video of Koduva sentences and found shocking similarities Koduva has, not just in vocabulary with Brahui (the Dravidian language of Pakistan), but also, shocking similarities in grammar that Koduva shares with with that of Brahui, particularly the present imperfect and past imperfect tenses. I can only deduce that these shared simple present and simple past tenses are Harappan in origin and have been preserved in Brahui and that their presence in Koduva establishes that they aren't an innovation but in fact an unchanged version of the original. This must also mean that Koduva broke away from Brahui more recently than say languages like Tamil where these tenses have become changed. This recent separation of Koduva from its source would definitely explain the fact of why the Koduva are one of the least mixed of India's Dravidians, the vast majority of whom are heavily mixed with the tribal populations. But not the Koduva, at least that's what DNA studies show us. I then looked at a map and found that the former name of the Amara district of Beluchistan is "Koluwa". Coincidence? I think not. :) The Dravidian culture truly is a unique and special one, Best of luck in preserving your language. It is definitely a special one.

I can understand almost everything. It's very similar to Malayalam.

Write in old Tulu script or in our Malayalam script.. Malayalam and Tulu scripts are derived from the ancient Grantha script and hence are almost identical. But now Tulu script is not used much.

I think this is the most closely related language to Malayalam than Tamil. I understand more than 90% what he said. But i can grasp tamil up to 80% only
