Great actor he truly deserve award for dil ek mandir and there are many other movies like kanoon , saathi , arzoo, gora aur kaala etc where his performance is outstanding , but Bollywood media always anti to him and many a times intentionally tried to show him badly quoting some wrong allegations and false information as he does not pay these columnists , there exist coterie in media who work for few particular actors. and there were politics always in film industry back then and now its more open.

Jitna struggle kiya that utna success paya tha , his struggle and success and way of leading life after success is very inspirational. he is destined to become next superstar after dilip , and that's what it has happened and it was Mere Mehboob which took him to top chair which was made by his past boss H S Rawail who was back then during RK struggling days kept denying RK from acting.

29:22 : I think this reference of Rajendra Kumar sahab was towards his colleague & contemporary Shammi Kapoor sahab who actually gave a total of around 18 or 20 flops right towards the beginning of his career before becoming a successful star through his film 'Tumsa Nahin Dekha' (1957). one actor who maintained his good looks till 60+ age , in another interview of his where he is speaking about raj kapoor he was so good looking that might be some what before than this one. One of the old Bollywood actor who aged well heard he never used to take any medication in his life and he never felt sick during his working days. his daughter said he died due to thalassemia but many media report he got cancer, detecting thalassemia at old age is very dangerous and with treatment also no one can survive
