I ‘ve seen many of these with 60,000 miles on them sell for close to $200,000. The car is only going up in value. Even with a $75,000 restoration you’re still way ahead of the game. They said the 288 gto wasn’t worth $200,000 10 years ago and now it’s 4.5 mil.

what was done to the 6r80 for it to be used on the Supra? did it have to be built and if so who was it built by and did it have to be converted to be used with the 2J or did it just need a converter? I ask because Im looking at going with this becasue the ATF stage 3 is stout but ive heard many stories saying it doesnt last as long, vs this one, being that the transmission was used for heavy duty trucks and towing etc. just needs a new bell housing and shift kit to be used on the 2j and holds up to 1000rwhp. AND to top it off the core itself can be bought used for under $1000
