I hate clapping when landing... its almost as if they don't expect to land safely! In the Huffington Post, flight attendant David Puzzo listed clapping as one of the 12 things people should never (that's right, never) do on a plane, alongside not wearing shoes in the bathroom, using nail polish remover, or eating stinky food.

Yes some people do clap,Its their way of relief on landing,as there are so many people afraid of flying..I dont clap,as I know the pilots cant hear anyway,lol..I dont really care what people do as long as they abide by the rules and dont sit near me stinking!

Die kannst Du los werden, glaube mir. Die Fahrt zum Flughafen ist auf jeden Fall riskanter als der Flug selber.

@@salzstreuerdeluxe Mag sein das das statistisch richtig ist,aber Flugangst ist Flugangst.Ich sage mal so:Ich habe keine Panik in ein Flugzeug zu steigen,aber so ganz wohl ist mir dabei nicht.Wenn ich Auto fahre habe ich das Steuer selbst in der Hand.Beim Fliegen nicht mehr.
