Very nice video! This is exactly how you do this repair. I had to replace the hose on my Roadtrek when I got it and it was a pain and I didn’t have an instructional video to go by. Nice job!

Thank you. I think I'm going to have to do this as my hose is pretty much stuck shut on the outer end. Now I know how it all fits together.

I own a 2003 Popular 190 and have a bit of experience with solar and would like to address one item. A risk in any installation is the positive + red wire running from the battery to some device becoming dead shorted to chassis, this could result in a fire and/or system damage. I advise all attachments directly to house battery bus, be fused. You can calculate your fuse size using Ohms law or just size it based on the max current recorded on the controller. An ideal instalation would have separate positive and negative bus bars in/near the battery compartment. This will allow for only one conductor attached directly to each battery terminal from the termination bus (for ease of disconnect) and a place to fuse branch circuits for the other devices. Fair motoring, Dan

A great tutorial. My RV tech said he has many of those to replace each spring. Apparently people blow out their system rather than using antifreeze and the air doesn't clear water from that area very well.

Just returned from a supposedly 5-star Grand Aston hotel in Varadero (AirTransat), which opened in Sept 2023. I can echo the sentiments this man has highlighted in this video and add a few more surprises. The Supply Chain in Cuba is non-existent. Constant shortages of every possible consumer goods that Canadians take for granted. The usual nostrums are bandied about "This Is Cuba". My counter-argument is China is also run by the CCP and they have an abundance of consumer products and no supply chain issues? I'm more annoyed because I was in Cuba 37 years ago at a Delta Hotel Resort East of Holguin and comparing now, to back then, the needle has not shifted. Nothing has changed in Cuba while China has rocked and also governed by a CCP! Grand Aston ran out of beer for 2 days, and coffee for 6 days and it was hilarious to witness the Canadians walking 500M to a variety store to purchase Vodka, gin, whiskey, beer, and coffee after shelling out $1000 a week for an all in vacation. The supply chain issue as well as Hotel Management issues are at the heart of the problem. Also, not nearly enough hotel staff available to handle 1000 guests weekly. The maintenance equipment provided to the cleaning staff was woefully inadequate (household brooms and mops) to clean up after guests so the floors get superficially cleaned but the heavy grime remains and sometime in the near future this Hotel will become dilapidated without serious maintenance. I saw ONE vacuum cleaner in 2 weeks and it was operated by a MAN with the female staff looking on. Pork and chicken were good but the beef was as tough as cowhide. Almost no leafy lettuce and never came across an onion or a piece of garlic and scarce butter. If you love powdered eggs you'll love Cuba as fresh eggs were available for 6 of the 15 days we were there, not to mention only 2 egg and omelet stations for 1000 guests (you get the picture of the size of the lineup for eggs). This situation is not just a Cuban Government issue the Hotel Chains and the Airlines MUST take proportionate responsibility for this debacle. I'll not be returning anytime soon although the people are very kind and decent and well meaningful and to some extent embarrassed to disclose just how poor they are for they are a proud people and rightly so. We left everything useful to a few of our favorite servers.
