Not sure where the commentator got his info, or when this film was made, but since this posting is only 7 days old, I'd say it's a "newer" film. Point I'm making is, Uganda DEFINITELY does not have 26 million people (1:45 mark). It's closer to 50 million as of June 2024!!

I've heard these animals called wild dogs or painted wolves but they call them hunting dogs in this. All predators hunt otherwise they wouldn't be predators would they? What's next, hunting lions, hunting leopards, hunting hyenas etc ? These aren't called ' hunting dogs ' as there are other dog breeds that are used for hunting. They should call them wild dogs as that's what they are

Back in the day I was visiting my sister and her husband. Thier neighbor had a pet chimp. Sometimes I walked past thier house. They kept the chimp in an enclosed porch. The chimp started to get crazy when people walked by. The chimp got more aggressive. The chimp crushed a steel swing on the porch. That was enough of me walking on that street. I don't know what happened to the chimp after that. But the chimp seemed like he was dangerous.

A very well done documentary on Chimpanzees. Truly i was shocked to learn about the battles between Male Chimpanzees. As well as the terrible fact young babies are being taken by certain lone Male Chimpanzees. My thoughts and prayers to all those families who have lost a child. Yet the deforestation and thus the lack of habitat. Certainly may be one of the reasons this is now occurring.💪🏻🙏🏻✨

We all sorry for the human losses, but No, the chimpanzees are not KILLERS or MURDEROUS, they are just intelligent, strong, adaptable, aggressive and wild primates which are trying to live without being wiped out by us humans, the supposed "civilised" primate.. It is our fault not protecting our babies , and not letting them and the rest of wildlife live in the nature. This documentary should be more professional, more objective and scientific, and not just demonising the chimpanzees with prepared images, interviews, comments and dramatic tragic background soundtrack..

All of this is in precise accordance with my own conclusions and studies of research done by various anthropologists . Primarily they have evolved to compete with gorillas in the same region unlike the bonobo south of the Congo . The only thing that prevents gorillas moving in on fruiting trees etc where chimpanzees are resident is their sheer raucousness and associated inter tribal conflict that could in all reality be a secondary consequence of gorilla competition . Certainly the gorilla is the gentle giant with well behaved humans but if you were to get in the way of their food source in the wild with no technological advantage then you might be in real trouble if you did not move aside ; an option chimpanzees in the wild simply may not have . Napoleonic springs to mind .

Jane Goodall, with no real degrees in her subject matter. But a ton of “honorary” degrees. Has nothing to her name but anecdotal stories. She has done so much harm with her stories. No one was there when she documented her stories - they are fictional.
