simply brilliant, how the orchestra recreated the movie in my imagination... (incl. all the screamings and barkings and broken dishes 😂)

One thing that baffles me about Jabberjaw is I don't know if I ever saw the actual series when I was younger. That Plate advert though. Probably the most profound memory most 90s kids have of that show. That I still remember very well.

My favorite logos are Intervision and START (State of the Art). Intervision’s logo looks cel-animated. Pretty rare for a VHS company! (Most VHS company logos use early computer animation or Scanimate.) There’s something about START’s harp intro as its music.

Interesting and memories. Most voice overs were male and deep masculine voices. Females were very high pitched and pleasant. How things have changed.......

Can anybody bring insight into the unique coloured burn-in artefacts on overexposed or bright objects? In this training video I see a bright blue, but I've also seen other footage that was either magenta or green?

Times have definitely changed… Firstly Barry does the worst Scottish accent ever, then drops the fact that Felix Lighter now played by a black actor should be named darker..

Thank you very much for this trip down memory lane. But I am working with much smaller cameras today!

On "our" cameras we had two handles, one for zoom and the other for focus.

When I worked with these big cameras in the studio on air, we had camera assistants that took care of the cables.....

Is it a black and white viewfinder? You should always calibrate your viewfinder with a color bar or a contrast card, and not to "your personal taste"!

World had changed by 1990. These ads remind me of how much it changed and how we knew it too. It just got worse from the Recession onwards.

Although I Absolutely Love the film NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN... the Biggest Mistake about NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN is Remaking the Absolute Masterpiece that was THUNDERBALL! They should have REMADE the 1 Movie that Sean Connery DIDN'T DO, and it was ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE... this would've been the Greatest and Most Successful James Bond Film of All-Time!

Actually , Never say never again is a marvellous title for a Bond movie. Much better that the redundant titles with kill and die. Sounds like a title Fleming would use.
