Never grease the new bearings. If you have to put in new bearings, make sure you assemble the drive hub and cv shaft with plenty of waterproof grease. The most common problem with DAC bearings is water ingress. I finds it way through the joints between the mating parts. Doesn’t take much. Over greasing bearings causes the balls to slide instead of rolling. Bad bad. The factory Can Am bearings are perfect, as they come from the dealer.

Unless there is no one living beyond those barrels for 5+ miles, that 50bmg can travel 4-5 miles. Plus if you're aiming that low and your bullet hits that high and you can't adjust for that, you definitely need to change something.

@Paddy.Millkey2 жыл бұрын
You don’t want to over grease. I have a 2020rr xds lost the bearings after 1700 kms. To much grease causes the ball bearings to slide and not roll. Causing a groove wrecks the bearing to early. I have the tool as well now it’s one shot vs. 6. I ride combination of trails and mud.

@brokedadfilms97022 жыл бұрын
After ever dirty ride I go through and detail the entire machine. These cost to much to ride hard and put away wet. Sometimes we will ride 100 miles out on our trail systems and I need this machine to be reliable. Part of the detail process is inspections of all major components.
@dennispoints6702 жыл бұрын
So why do you grease sealed bearings it does nothing
@brokedadfilms97022 жыл бұрын
The major complaint I have seen is that can am doesn't put enough grease in from the factory. I can say that mine were certainly under greased. Also being under greased allows for water to enter your bearings when you drive through high water. Most people use these machines as boats. When I greased mine for the first time water did come out.
