In a few ways, yes. Now it's trivial to outright beat any wrecking ball. You can just hit a longer range heavy button to beat all WBs. Also, even at a perfect distance, air WB is way less advantaged now.

Also seems like the damage is way more backloaded, dependent on getting the ender. I don’t think the Devs foresaw people becoming so consistent with breaks and that probably lead to the later changes.

Yup, the damage was much less up front in s1. There was no first-hit bonus damage like in later seasons and one-chance into shadow ender was the most optimal use of shadow b/c the ender didn't scale as much as currently.

I like some of the less refined UI elements. I prefer the style of shadow move honestly! Fun little side tourney, good job Baal. You do amazing work in this community

Man Roman Vs Menzo was a good match. Just isn’t fair! On one hand you have the most broken character in the game with insane tools for everything and insane rushdown and poor menzo only had Rash
