The issue is that the ref was blocking & grabbing at Usyk as if he was going to call a knock down or stoppage, but only did when he had no other choice saving Fury from a knockout. The ref was interfering and indecisive.

What are you watching? Usyk decided not to throw a punch because he could see Tyson was knocked out on his feet and defenseless. The ref couldn't stop a punch by force even if he wanted to.

@@chemeister No, Usyk chose to stop throwing because the ref grabbed and blocked him throughout the sequence. Usyk assumed the ref was stepping in to make a call which didn't come until well into the sequence and at the end of the round. Nearly everyone at ringside had the same impression.
