I wonder if 万万 can be used with the future tense. For example : "I will never ever leave you" = 我万万不会离开你。 Maybe it's better to stick with : 我永远不会离开你。

I think that 几月几号 can also be used to ask for a date. For example : 你的生日是几月几号? = "When is your birthday?" Maybe 几月几日 is also okay, but seems more unnatural to me.

我不学中文了 = "I am no longer studying Chinese" (the situation has changed) I think that the sentence-final 了 only indicates a change if the sentence is negated. 我学中文两年了 = "I have been studying Chinese for two years" If the sentence is not negated, I think the sentence-final 了 indicates that the situation is ongoing. (I am still studying.) (No change.)

你的中文很好 = "Your Chinese is (very) good" When used with a predicate adjective, I like to think of 很 as an 'affirmation'. ( It doesn't usually mean "very". ) Either 很 or 不 must be used, where 不 is a 'negation' : 你的中文不好 = "Your Chinese is not good"

好像像那么回事了 = "It seems like that is what happened" In English, we can change the "like" to "that" and say : "It seems that that is what happened" So the word "that" appears two times in a row. I think the first one is called a 'conjunction', and the second a 'demonstrative pronoun'. This kind of thing can easily occur. For example : "I know that that is important" = 我知道那很重要 Actually, the first "that" can be omitted. And Chinese has no equivalent. So : 好像 = "it seems" or "it seems that" 我知道 = "I know" or "I know that"

In "make excuses" (找借口) Chinese uses 找 ("look for") and not 做 ("make"). Interesting.

I think that 即使 ("even if") is a difficult concept for English speakers, who would (erroneously) want to use 甚至如果 (which is wrong). Furthermore, 即使 can sometimes have the translation "even" when the implication is that the situation won't change despite this condition. For example : 即使一万块钱不会让她高兴 = "Even $10,000 won't make her happy" (甚至 should not be used in place of 即使 because the meaning is : "Even if you give her $10,000, she won't be happy")

Very understandable: Chinese mothers like Japanese mothers have to give themselves 100% to their child. Please note: child not children. A dedicated mother in the West is still clever enough to dedicate herself 100% to her children as a gift to them. In China and Japan a mother dedicates herself to her child to compete with the other mothers. So she can't even have a second one because how can she dedicate herself 100% to both of them?

My opinion is, we are in an era of new technology, and somewhere along the line it while stop stay before begin another new era, its the same like the time of development of writing system which start around 3000BC and still developing but not as much as before, much stable and creative. By mathematics also we havent develop any new kind math but much more exponential toward engineering or math application itself, we have no new Euclid, new Godel not really make huge impact in Math.
