Very nice, congrats! What I don't understand is that here you have an orthodox stance, whereas in the Las Vegas 2023 clip you have a southpaw stance. Have you channged, or you're able to switch the stance based on your opponent?
@spinachleach
@spinachleach 9 ай бұрын
Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. I had to look back for myself. I am originally orthodox, but do switch : 1. If tired :)😅 2: when advantageous- I find that when I am in southpaw, I am more defensive, and I can rely on my jabbing right hand, which has more power, but I’m not as fast on my feet in south paw position. when I switch to Orthodox -this seems to be my attack mode, and I can move faster and load up my right power hand. As you can see in my Las Vegas fight: First round, I was orthodox. Second round, I switch to southpaw and managed to score a knockdown with a right overhand/hook. Third round. I started off southpaw again, but my opponent was bull-charging me. Honestly, I had no intention of being aggressive as I was ahead and just wanted to coast along defensively. However, my opponent was showing aggression so I decided to switch back to orthodox and finish off. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pL98prSGlZrZc5s.htmlsi=4BSZ4-8UV4WRzpWM

Looking strong, Saneer! If I could say anything, try to cut off the ring by sidestepping instead of following them around. Use your jabs to close the distance and pressure into a corner. Then unload combos when they’re trapped. I wish you the best of luck!!

Personally I think his stance is too wide. A full weight haymaker could throw him off balance especially if he blocks it.

Its not so high, but it may be a 10 cm lower. Anyways overally if you wanna train defense and offense with the bag, you need it in the height of ur head, so you can actually try to dodge

Please watch in slo-mo at 0.25 replay speed-at least 1st round . landed on target round1: 36 punches ;round 2 - 23 punches And round 3 : 39 punches- 98 punches landed on target in 4.5 minutes Being an amateur fight it was purely quantity (for points) over quality (limited but blue’s restrictive offense- grabbing/holding/pushing etc) .

Outclassed is a little stretch. He lost but it was a good fight from a beginner perspective from both sides.

Going out in a heavy offence right from the moment go isn't a good strategy until you're sure that you have the gas tank for it, which you simply wouldn't in your first bout. The guy in blue was composed, kept his calm despite receiving an aggressive offence. So he was dominated, but WASN'T OUTCLASSED.
