Nice knife. Clicked the link and found it was a great price, however, I’m UK, and have never purchased anything from America, so how much would the customs fee be? Also, love your content, I’m new to EDC, so at the moment I’m gathering all the stuff you had shown in you previous vid about carry on friendly EDC, started with the pouch and SAK, really loving it so far. Thanks for the recommendations. Great vid👍

It's a bold statement but I genuinely have nothing bad to say about this knife! What's your opinion on it?
@Mattcruzedc23 сағат бұрын
In my experience, the legality of knives is mostly about shipping. As long as you don’t have a reason to be stopped, you shouldn’t have a problem carrying anything.

I rotate an MKM Fara, MKM Isonzo, Twisted Junzi and several others. Then I have a small edc that goes everywhere consisting of keys, wallet, torch, phone battery, cables, wool beanie, gloves (in winter) and a rain jacket. For longer trips I add a bunch of stuff around water and being able to make coffee 😂 I usually also have a SAK or similar - I really like the MKM Campo which is SAK style, but all Magnacut.

Great little kit! I’d HIGHLY recommend upgrading your torch/flashlight to the Acebeam Pokelit and thank me later. For a slightly increased size (AA batts), its so much more versatile. It has a half-lumen setting (great for navigating unfamiliar hotel rooms going for a slash in the night), a mid setting and a high setting which is around 550 lumens! It also has a memory function where you can switch it back on to your favourite setting. I used to use i3Ts but this has been my constant EDC for about 2 years now. Anyway, thanks for another great video! Keep the cool content coming.

Once used cable ties to secure a bag in the airport and felt very good about myself - until i got to the hotel room, late at night and realised all sharp items were firmly secured in said bag. :) When i last came thru Munich airport I had my cigar lighter confiscated. I’ve been trying to get a straight answer from airport security in the UK about the titanium folding spork and from what i’ve read, because its metal and has sharp points, they might seize it. “Might” isn’t helpful. Have you found any resistance in any UK airport (or any other for that matter) when they’ve seen your spork?

Using either a Spyderco Urban or Squeak myself if you’ve not looked at those. Also another one I’m interested in checking out is the Spyderco Roadie it’s small but looks good and non threatening so would be interested in getting your view on one of those if you get your hands on one.

@@TedHowells It's dubious as fuck. There are thousands of knives like this that don't lock and are under 3 inches. The wording is like religious texts they can spin it however the hell they want for any given item. People get very stressy when you point this out like you're defending the government or something. I think they're as idiotic as the people I'm arguing with also think they are. The thing should be legal. But it's a limbo risk it's not either or. It's part of our clown state.

Bro, you've gone from the Civivi Foldis detent knife (£80) to the even more expensive James BLAND slipjoint (£93) , when you can get the far superior and safer Spyderco UKPK, Urban, or Squeak for the same money. If you really want to splash out on an exceptional knife the Spyderco Lil"Native is great. A review is one thing, but your choice of personal carry knives sucks. Even the tiny Twisted Assited Tulip (£60) is far safer in the hand as it can't close on you. I have all five of those knives but my most regular EDC is the £35 Black Fox Bean Gen 2, which despite being a detent knife still can't close on you if you know how to use it. It's small, simple, strong, safe, discreet, and £35! Not super slicey, but stout and reliable.
@TedHowellsАй бұрын
This is a super helpful comment!! I'm only really getting to grips with uk legal stuff properly still as the majority of my collection are locking. I took a look at a few of them and ordered the Black Fox so I'm stoked to try that out.

I also love how the law thinks that expensive knives are used in crimes... i have knives worth over £100 each, do you really think if i was a criminal id spend even £20 on a knife when i can easily pick up a "fixed blade" (kitchen knife) for less than £5 and then toss it away after the fact?! Fuck i do deeply apologise for using critical thinking and common sense!!!!!
