Can you show us how you stack them?

Love hearing your opinions since you have so many pieces 🎉 I started with a 5.25qt tall Dutch then went to a 3.5qt brasier style everyday pan with a clear lid and ended up with 2 of those that live on my stove. When I started buying these they mostly only had the super bright primary colors plus some white and navy, now they have so many beautiful muted colors. I just ordered a 6.75 round wide in thyme and it’s on back order apparently but I’m excited to get it. We have an LC outlet about 30 min from me but the prices aren’t great to be honest. I would really like to have a trivet. And I need to exchange the knob on my 5.25, I didn’t realize it wasn’t oven safe past like 390, but I’ve had it in the oven at 500 before and it hasn’t blown up, although I’ve heard horror stories lol

Hi Karen. Hope you are feeling better and taking care of yourself in this extreme heat. I am really trying with a no spend July. Luckily, LC doesn't have anything that I am really "dying" to get. I must say that if I were to purchase anything, it would be another Cassadou. Love that pot and reach for it most of the time. Congrats to Maya!

Hi Karen, I’m so happy you are feeling better and I hope you didn’t get too hot 🥵 at the farmers market. It is definitely deathly out there. We are at very high altitude here in Colorado. Anyway I really enjoy my Fait Tout. I have it in the Provence and the Cherry. I’m such a hogger, but I use it all the time. Amazing wide and deep enough. I call them up directly at the Denver outlet store. I know they had two purple ones left. They send it to you, shipping was free. ❤ maybe you would get lucky and they will still have one. I’d like to let all of my vegetables blister in there the potatoes came out great also that we made, the small French ones with shallots. Blessings to you.

I wanted the fait tout in provence as well!!!

I had the Fait Tout (pronounced.(FAY TOO) in Provence held in my cart 24 hours while I was on the fence contemplating if this was something I really needed. The next day I noticed it was casually removed from my cart and declared sold out. I ended up ordering a 2.25qt braiser in Soleil which is such a happy vibrant color.

I'm glad you're feeling better now Karen, and congratulations to Maya! I haven't really been too inclined to buy much myself this year either, though I bought several items last year. And I think that's the thing for me. I buy my pots for use, not collecting, Iwell, some for collecting, but they all get used!), and I have enough to cover most circumstances. I really wouldn't mind another 3.5 round wide, but I have one and I have a saueuese, (never use it, use the round wide all the time, they are not the same to me). So then I'd have to do something with the sautuese and well, I just can't be bothered lol. But perhaps you're like me and just have enough? I will say, the only thing I am looking at is the 1 qt DO with the teddy bear knob. I do have a couple (ok, I have four!) of them, but I use them two or three at a time for smaller loaves of bread, and one has a small chip out of it on the rim (it came that way). So I'm tempted to buy another of those - but I have a storage problem too. So I'll probably be sitting this one out. Oh, and they have less choice this year in some models too. I would have bought another shallow round (ue that one a lot too), but they only have it in Marseille I believe, which I already have. So there's that too.

Le Creuset has the Essential Oven (Sauteuse?) for $200 (Reg $350) and Nectar is available. (as is peach which looks very tempting) But why replace it at all if the damage is on the exterior? Glad you are doing better. We're roasting with triple digit heat in the SouthWest USA.

I hope you get well soon, heat exhaustion is no fun, and this heat wave has been brutal. That said, I lay my pots out, and my husband stacks. ( I do stack plates, etc,. if the dishwasher is full and I'm washing extra). . I do allow him to wash some of my pots, mostly the larger ones, when I have had a rough day and have no spoons left, (because I can and have dropped them into the sink because I get so weak), but I stand right there with a drying towel and I dry them. The only one he is allowed to stack/do what he wishes with is the 12" skillet, as it has just become too heavy for me and he uses it most anyway, so it's his now. He abuses the poor thing but oh well lol! As for replacement, you have two essential ovens, right? I dont' know what but I'd be tempted to get something I didn't have yet, unless you use both constantly.

Karen!!! Please feel better. Now the pot has some character! haha! That pot is made to take a beating (literally). Your health is more important than that pot. However, hubby owes you! haha!!!

Even with the lid, the cabbage takes so long to soften up.

I love the 975 jars for herbs. Additionally, the size small wooden lids fit the 975 jars, making them very handy in your spice cabinet.

I feel the same as you Karen. I really have no need to add to my collection right now. I think my collection is complete really. HOWEVER, haha! I still intend on purchasing a Staub dutch oven at some point. Like you, I use my pots, I'm not collecting, I needed new pots and fell into a Le Creuset hole. Very interesting comparison of the pots.

@shock horror 😂😂😂. I am a Staub person. My best friend is a Le Creuset person. I was able to find her 7.5 qt. Le Creuset for $250. I must agree Le Creuset screams luxury because of the brand reputation and prestige. There is something behind the name. I love my Staub items and l like that l have been able to score them at resonable prices. To be honest, both brands are expensive. I am at the point where l am really considering my purchases wisely. Looking over my small humble collection of cookware I see how expensive the love of quality cookware can be.😢

LOL @ Shock horror! I love my Le Creuset, but I do have mostly Staub, so I agree with the selection. I remember you bought a skillet. If you want to try a Staub dutch, they're running their visual imperfections sale. A 5.5 is like $160. The pieces I've bought from such a sale, looked perfect except for a pin hole on one. If someone is extra nervous about what condition theirs may be in, I tell them to go with a matte black piece, so they aren't worried about any colored glaze imperfections...although mine have been perfect. No spots or color variations.

We started planting more herbs and getting some more flowers and different plants, but we definitely have much less space! We are attracting a lot of bees and other pollinators, and we are trying to make it as welcoming for them as we can! He is so funny. First super hot bite, scream, then putting in another hot bite right away. Wow! But, I must say that looked very good. I can smell the combination of spices as I enjoy Graham Masala and Curry. I sometimes sneak them into my egg salad!
