Bullets of Mercy just might be the most versatile OC in the game. If you're playing close to your Driller, there's not a single moment where Bullets of Mercy isn't helping.

I cycle between every driller primary, changing my wave cooker mods to suit whatever primary i’m using. I doubt i’ll change your mind on this, but I honestly have a blast just using flamethrowers in games. I mean come on, it’s every dude’s sci-fi fantasy ever since the original Alien movie or John Carpenter’s “The Thing”. Love the sludge pump, but I love me some good old fashioned xenobug barbeque too!

Rocket jumping is great actually, you just can't treat it like rocket jumping from other games, it's not a vertical tool, it's a horizontal tool, aim backwards at the ground, shoot and jump to get what is basically free movement No damage. No stamina lost. Negligible cooldown that'll finish before the boost ends

I was a crisper main till I realized goo canon just cheeses bosses that can be afflicted with status. Instant status I like pairing this with colette with the overclock that makes you deal extra damage up close and the upgrade that lowers enemy defense if they’re poisoned (I gotta find more goo canon overclocks)

I tried playing the entire game on clash mode, and the cancerous rodent suddenly became the biggest threat in the game, firstly, it’s so small that the clash mode attack can’t hit it, so after attempting to kill it for a couple of minutes I turned clash mode off, killed the cancerous rodent, then turned it back on, then got immediately smoked by the very cancerous rodent, problem was that with how checkpoint loading works in clash mode the very cancerous rodent didin’t despawn, I went back and killed it, went to the final room of the level, and when I killed the first wave of enemies in that room, suddenly the cancerous rodent’s health bar and music reappeared, and it soft locked me, since the exit wouldn’t open and you couldn’t leave the room until every enemy in the area was dead, problem was, the cancerous rodent was outside of the area, and so I had to go back to my checkpoint. _It did it again._ There truly was no escaping it, until one time after I restarted to my check point it just didn’t show back up and I was allowed to finish the level

I actually felt the opposite about GK2 vs DRAK when I first started playing Deep Rock. GK2 was the reliable option that wasn't as fun as M1000, and drak felt cool, but also really weak in terms of damage and accuracy (being a slow projectile weapon automatically makes it the least accurate option). It wasn't until I started unlocking all it's overclocks that I started to really like the weapon, it has some of the best in all off scout's kit while being the weakest weapon at base IMO.

So this is what it would look like if V1 was mass-produced.

Slab Revolver swapping is currently a little bit more complicated to execute. Normally, if you swap out of a slab before pulling its hammer and swap back to said slab, you'll go through a long reload animation. So if you still want to slab swap, you'll have to hit a coin during its splitshot windows with a slab shot and every slab's hammer will reset and let you slab swap to your heart's content (until, y'know, you run out of coins.)

Side note: battle frenzy not only give you speed for kills, actually gives you accuracy, so if you chain kills you can have 0% spread, read the wiki PD: bullets of mercy works with All effects in the game, even the ambientals, you dont need a driller, you can stun, freeze granades,bumerang stun and electeic targets,slow granades count to, pheromones works equaly for the multiplier of dmg, fear and other effects whit your bolts applys the mercy bullets to, so you can use the overclok by your own, and if you no have driller no problem, engi and gunner can electrify, burn, stun and fear enemys to, so.... Driller overrated PD2: Yeah but without overclocks the plasma rifle is an absolute shit And overheats faster, BTW the ammo capacity sucks to, 1 swarm and you feel like enginer guns
