Gross Austin has gone to hell. All the homeless and drug addicts, dirty streets, they also voted to defund the police. Crime has gone sky high. All the Californians and people from the east coast like New Jersey. Gross 🤢

If you mean you want to get a degree in 3 years instead of 4, that's absolutely possible! I did it:) You can do it 2 ways: 1. Come in with college credits already (like from a community college) or 2. Take more than 4 classes a semester and take summer classes. They won't make you stay all 4 years if you already completed all required credits. Hope that helps!

would you say UT Austin is good for people who wanna do pre-med but not nursing?

Oh yes, definitely! I was pre-med myself. There are plenty of student organizations dedicated to it, I was part of AMSA, and they really help you to navigate the process! Plus, you get to make friends:) And since the university is in the city, you get plenty of medical opportunities to gain experience. On top of that, it's a big research university, so it will be no problem finding a research lab to work for, if that's the route you want to take. So overall, yes, it's a great choice for pre-med students! Hope that helps:)

I was accepted to a doctoray stay at UT Austin, I am researcher at Columbia Univeristy and a PhD Candidate at University of São Paulo. I am excited to live there in Austin, but I don't know anyone there and I don't know how I will rent a dorm there.

Glad you 2 enjoyed that trip, I wish I could re-visit L.A I haven't been since 2002 when I was 13, and never saw the downtown part. I also wish I could visit Universal Studios Hollywood. I live all the way in Illinois so a trip to California would cost me alot + a hotel payment. Good thing you all got to stay for 7 days. The longest self-paid trip I took only lasted 3 days.
