come on, nothing special happened here. conor dominated formany years, then his carear ended. This is the same for every fighter. Look at Muhammad Ali. He dominated for long time, an then he started to lose fights. Chabib is now for a few yaers dominating on international stage, but also his time will come where one figther will get him. this happened toa l fighters in history, and i do not understand the hype. Honestly.

Conors take down defence was very impressive He was 2 years retired and came back injured leading up to this fight. You could cleary tell his strikes where weakened by his balance due to the injury. So between ring rust , injurys. and to win a round before losing focus. Fair play. If the fight was two years earlier. Id say khabib would be asleep. That fight against alvarez was proves my theory. He was at the peak of his career. Won two titles in two different weight classes at the same time whilst holding both together. Then money may weather offers $100million which any one would take. He had nothing else to achieve. If he had of stayed in ufc . He wouldnt be as rich and still wouldn't have won any other titles he hadnt already held. Smart man and an awesome fighter. Well done

I believe McGregor was never going to be Khabib on the ground even if this was two years earlier. Alvarez was not on the same level as Khabib. Great businessman, great striker, and changed the UFC no doubt
