What I don't like is my fans running when I'm on the highway. Seems to be a waste, Other than that exception, I tend to agree with your hypothesis.

Explained lots of things i have heard in video blogs of racers but never understood- auto transmissions being a black art. Not a racer just a fan but it was great info for me. More please of the technical vids! Especially converter info. I suspect it is a mystery to many fans and racers alike.

I am going to dissent, I purchased this kit and was severely disappointed. 1.) the wires are stranded aluminum, not stranded copper. This is a no go, aluminum wiring in a car is a fire hazard. 2.) the lines are not color coded in the instructions. Once wired in, if you didn't take note of the color to number, you have to get back underneath the car and take note. 3.) If you are in a late model Chevy/Ford/Mopar there is absolutely no room for the bracket, sensors and DT connector in the tunnel. Even with bending the bracket there is still little to no room next to the TH400. Since the pins are DT and if you have a Holley just use the supplied wiring from the J connectors if you purchased a kit along side a Dominator. I was asked to provide a review by Motion, it was sent in. Won't post to the site and I even included videos and photos of the issues.

Can you use push to lock hose on a regular AN fitting? Or is there a difference in hose diameter both inside and out - overall? I have push-lock hose but I bought the nylon braiding sleeve to put over it but just need to know what fittings I can use? I actually have a box of fittings (AN) that I was hoping to be able to use on the push-lock but after watching your video I’m assuming I cannot do that because each fitting has a specific hose for them except where you stated those two fittings can use the same hose. Thanks for an awesome detailed video!!!

If you? Live in the midwest apply grease to the face of the hub after you removed the rust. Next time you do a break job there'll be no rust on the hub.

If im replacing fuel hoses from engine bay & fuel tank hat to e85 compatible hose and connecting straight to existing hardline for feed and return ' will hardline act as earth for static build up compared to alloy fittings

The air/oil film finding a way out, 100% can confirm. I have a baby 700 hp BBC 540 thats NA and had the PCV vented to the intake. Idling, around town driving nothing and not a big deal. But when giving it the go pedal, oil was pushing out the filler cap then running off the back of the engine and making a mess. I'd also get puffs of white smoke too from it being burned in the engine. First build I've done at this power level, learning as I go, and solving problems as they come up. I ordered one of these cans because the baffling and am excited. My first Motion Raceworks product. Love that you sent an email with how to setup and the video was full of great information. I didn't even think about if you're venting to the intake how it could throw more air in, mess with your AFR and need tuning to adjust the top in. Cheers!

What’s the rule of thumb on tank mounting height vs cooling brick (LSA in my case). Is it important to keep the lines level and tank higher or equal to the brick vs pumping uphill? Are air pockets a concern?

Possibly a dumb question, but how do you handle the PVC port near the throttle body? Typical PCV hose goes from valve cover to the intake. If you just run a can from the valve cover, are you just left with an open fitting at the intake?
