Thank you for this demonstration! I was curious about the process, since having my cat undergo this surgery 3 years ago. My vet is incredible, and her scat looked just like the one you made- very small- I cant even find now where it was! She recovered liked it never happened, no cone, no infection etc! She is such a better cat because of it! AND at nearly 4 years old, she is very active for an indoor girl and is her perfect weight. Many people say they gain a lot of it and get lazy after the surgery bit she has not. Plus she will not eat wet cat food or table food, only dry cat kibble- she has her favorite!

My cat is being neutered as i am writing this comment, The vet we gave her to is one of the best since he neutered 5 cats in the family who are all now 6-13 years, But my cat is just 7 month and i am scared when she comes back that she won't really like me because of what i did (neutering her) Is there any advise you can give me she will arrive in 4-6 hours! If there is any tips that would be amazing like can i hold her? can i carry her? do we remove the litter box lid and door? etc..

@@wellnessgirl2806 lovely, isn't it? I'm still missing her terribly and it's been 2 years!! It's common that a chip developes a tumor and can turn into cancer. Her tumor at the chip infused into her spine! I'm just sick!!!! Come to find out...YES it Is a chance you take. My cat is microchipped. I will NOT microchip my dogs. Why? Most people now nowadays pull together to get your pet back to you anyways!!

@@brendafaithful8267 I don't think it's all that common... All of my animals have always been microchipped due to regulations and they never have grown a tumor. I'm sorry for your loss but this sounds more like a freak accident then something common. I'm very sorry for your loss.
