I thought "Deco" was more straight, structured lines..and "Nouveau " the long, sweeping curves"? Well, I've been wrong before!. Hahaha! Regardless, extraordinarily beautiful! Thank you ever so...<<♡>>

Thank you so much- glad you liked it. I enjoy designing cars, especially retro-style, so I had done that video several years ago with passion.

We need more billionaires in today's world to commission special cars like these. Recall that a Japanese collector spent TEN MILLION dollars to get Rolls Royce to build him a Phantom boat tail last year. The result was not very impressive, but at least they made an effort to recapture the style and beauty of the pre-war classics. Where are all the people with money and imagination!

I find it interesting that the only pair here to be mass produced were the American produced Auburn and Cords.

The stylistic concepts are disordered today. Flowing lines are beautiful; creased metal isn't.

I always get the "Hartmann" Cadillac mixed up with the Delahaye. Are Delahaye & Delage (I may have misspelled it) two different car companies? & A Bugazzi would've made it complete.

Six-cylinder 4.5-litre engine triple-carbureted 175S capable of about 160 km/h (99 mph), these figures were subject to variation depending on which sort of body was fitted, and which coachbuilder made it. Coachbuilder Jacques Saoutchik seemed oblivious of weight, and applied flamboyant heavily chromed brass embellishments on his extended enclosed fendered bodies.

Great video. just one thing, all those designs had to adapt to one stupid north american rule. tha forced all car that wanted to be sold in the united states. and was , that the front ligths must to be circular an must to be fixed just in front of the car. That silly idea. retarded the today design of the cars for many.. many years.
