You have to spread out the sleeves. I had alot of trouble initially installing it. Then on the work bench i had a socket on the sleeve. And extension that goes through the other end to then hammer it open so the arm would slip through.

SO I have an odd question. I connected mine the way you displayed when it comes to connecting up to the ac compressor. I connected the ground to the temp. switch with a junction running to the green wire off the ac compressor. Mine is doing something odd. When I am running the AC, the fan will turn on and off, but when the ac is off the fan runs constantly. The only thing I did differently was installed a inline thermostat that was cut into the upper radiator hose. I am assuming if I connect to the ground wire, the fan would run constantly, and if I run the AC and the clutch is running it would run constantly.

@@phillipmeredith69 images.app.goo.gl/Z7Mq4jE66o6AMFzr8 Ignore the diode wiring and the fan on light wiring. And this would be the wiring. The "manual switch" would be the "AC switch". And the thermo switch would be the same regardless if its using it in the actual radiator hose or a prong in the radiator fins. Sounds like something got wired funky. Possible on the relay end of things?

Really great video right up until the time you had to recharge the system???? FYI, I noticed that you also did not have to deal with all the splash guards underneatht the engine bay. Liked your video but once again getting the lower hose off is impossible without removal of the lower splash guards and those guards were ridiculously difficult. Had to bust at least 4 retaining bolts and basically destroy several push pin retainers to get all those guards off. Huge PIA. In addition, there are several retainer cables attached to the bottom of radiator fan shrouds that also proved to be very challenging. It would have been nice to see how all of the above was dealt with before I started my AC replacement project.

Thanks! Just replaced my power steering pump and hoses successfully. The most difficult task for me was dealing with the hoses near the tire, there's very little room to swing a wrench around. I'd recommend using one of those cut-away sockets to get a good grip on them. This project also made me realize how dangerously close multiple things are to the serpentine belt, ha.
