Thank you man! Really appreciate the effort you put in those videos, and I like to see your confidence go up as I advance in the playlist😅 I got one question - when you buying a truck, you add the truck which is worth 5K to your assets, and you reduce 5K as cash from your assets, so the LER side is not effected from this change only the ADE side, which stay balanced eventually? Thank you!

Hell yes ! Talking like a normal and hilarious human works so well for teaching this boring and mind numbing shit ! I’m refreshing for my last chapter in payroll class which will be journalizing. Watching your videos and can tell you love the grind- of all kinds ! Good job taking the time to make these vids in the past - people in the present and future will be helped still !

I'm 30 years old and no bachelor's How long will it realistically take me to get my CPA? I don't want to start if it'll take me 8 years or 10 years. I need a career degree asap Its either accounting or engineering

Hey mate. I know I'm young but I've done some research. If you have no college behind you, I would heavily recommend accounting. I would recommend you do something like WGU or a online accelerated university to get a degree fast (which to get your cpa, is required) -Then you can get your cpa by studying and knowing the material from your degree. And using cpa strength -If you accelerate at a good pace, this should only take you about 4-5 years at max. WGU says most students get there degree is 41 months or less, meaning if you accelerate well, you can be finished in 2-3 years, on top of 6 months of studying for the cpa to a year. MAKE SURE THE ONLINE DEGREE YOU DO IS ACCREDITED BY THE WAY, WGU IS ACCREDITED Cheers, I wish you luck.

@@Chickenizer thanks for the tip I was thinking going to community college for an associates in accounting then get a job in something like accounts payable, or anything that doesn't need a bachelor's but is accounting, and while working I sign up to WGU and finish my bachelor's then work for my CPA which should give me most credits and satisfy the one year of work requirement If I play it right then I can finish in about 4-5 years I am also now considering transferring to a local university and study economics with a focus on data/statistics and possibly minor in accounting so that I have a broader skill set/knowledge base

Here's ALL you need to know. 26 CFR 1.0-1 paragraph (d) of the IRC of 1954 clearly says TAXABLE YEARS began December 31 1953 and ended August 16 1954 passed into LAW by the 83rd Congress AS LAW and published AS Volume 68A of the United States Statutes at Large as LAW. Any Subtitle F compliant enforcement provisions took effect the day AFTER the date of ENACTMENT which was August 17 1954 but on that day there was NO TAX TO ENFORCE AS the tax died expired the day before which was August 16 1954. There HAS NOT BEEN AN ENFORCEABLE LEGAL INCOME TAX in this country for 70 YEARS!!!

Motivation piece....'I've never heard really nice things about me my whole life, it's only been negative, negative, you suck, you suck, you piece of shit, more....no, that's not good enough..". That ain't true at all, you are the best thing that came along in teaching accounts, shining the light on obscure subjects, sharing the pains with learners...so much empathy. DC ADE LER at the beginning of every video, so learners can't be casual about this mnemonic. Take home message on this topic: Retained earning is the BIG ONE.

Just what I need, someone to explain this mystery of the increase in asset, putting it in the Debit box, upon borrowing. Taking the time, dragging the subject slowly and deliberately, not assuming that I already know, as if it is a given, explaining away that which I don't really know. Thank you so much.
