You Rock girlfriend 😎 this summer, I plan to camp on our river bar🎣 Called Polymar, on the Skeena River. Painting, leaving messages on some random stones will be a good way to pass some time. My 1st message written, will be; Turn me over *random person flips rock; You just took orders from a rock, teehee

To keep the paint from shaping under the tape brush a layer of mod podge over the tape line before u paint on your color. Make sure it's dry before adding your paint....it doesn't take long at all. When u remove the tape u don't want it completely dry but u don't want to remove it right after painting. Wait until the paint is almost dry but still slightly tacky and them slowly pull the tape back by pulling it straight back and then pull the tape down at a sharp angle and u should get crisp clean lines every time. I use this hack no matter what I'm painting or what paint I'm using. I've done it on canvases, countless crafts, the walls in my entire house, and even on clothes!

8:58 Everyone make sure you are using low temp hot glue so it cools faster, and it’s less likely to burn your fingers!🤔😁💕

I love the flowers. Could you possibly slow it down though. I am NOT and artist so it doesn't come naturally to me. I really want to learn. Thanks! :)

Glad you love them :) you can slow the video down using the options on the screen! Just tap the video, click the three small dots signifying settings, then click playback speed, and choose whichever you like :) you’ll likely have to turn down the volume though, otherwise it may drive you crazy. Haha, have fun drawing them and I hope that helps!

What type of glue would work best for styrofoam trees?

Hmmmm that’s a really great question. I might try e6000! Or some type of superglue. Let me know how it goes!

Are these pen paints which you are using for drawing leaves and dots?
@CarterSams Жыл бұрын
Yes, they are sharpie oil based paint markers. Since making this, Posca paint markers have proven to be a much better choice for rock painting!

What’s a good recommendation to not smear for lefties?
@CarterSams Жыл бұрын
Great question. I’d try resting or taping a piece of plain computer paper over the design you did. Tape would need to be on a blank part of the chalkboard so it doesn’t pull the design off on removal. Thanks for watching and commenting :)
