It drives me crazy to see you ignoring the sauce dish the whole time when eating hotpot. No Chinese eat the meat or vegetables or noodles straight out of the boiling chili oil broth - dip them into the sauce (sesame oil, garlic, vinegar, etc…) first! Otherwise all you will taste is spiciness, and be missing out 90% of the complex flavors. 😅

I am taken, emotionally and educationally, by this content and your bravery. I love your portrayal of the kindness and the deeply-rooted traditions of the Syrian people and their history. I appreciate that you learned to speak the language and showed us the incredible ancient past of Syria. I pray for all the people you've met and their resilience, dignity, and kindness. But I'm also saddened by the sacrilege and devastating suffering. It makes me think of the impertinence of things. I'm slightly ashamed how I have been less kind than these people. I love seeing the rebuilding of this country. Today, I learned that history belongs to the people and their achievements to preserve their community and build a lasting civilization, and not of the leaders whom benefit with their names self-written in history. When I was in high school 8 years ago, I wrote a letter to the assemblywoman in my area to aid the Syrian refugees. My stance on how this has affected my community shifts back and forth, but this video will mark in my memory the importance of humanity and empathy before speaking on issues like these. I hope you're doing OK after this trip. I think you're meant to pursue journalism like this, bringing dignity and voice to war-torn regions and preserving history. You have great chemistry with places and people like this, though next time you should come to the stores carrying gifts in case they refuse payment haha.

Kolkata is symbol of colonialism, and Bengalis are proud of it... People throng to see this memorial, Bengalis forgot how millions of innocent be Bengalis were killed by British colonialists by creating artificial famine.... Being a prabasi Bengali my head hangs in shame... Shame on you guys... You should destroy this structure ideally, any self respecting community or people would do that... We are preserving it... Wow😢....

SHE said the Ice Cream was SUPER Frozen if something is Frozen it is just that it cant be extra frozen by adding the word SUPER lol. By adding SUPER is that like when all the people struggling with Intellect used to say LITERALLY all the time in the wrong context ? Overall a great fun video, the ladies waist jewelry was perfect.

As of 2022 there are only 4 Jews in Syria. Why did you make a point in saying it was diverse? All the Jews have been forced out. Get your facts straight

It is not dangerous because Assad is President, his strength and courage are a blessing to Syria. The danger is ftom the US/Israel backed ISIS and Al Nusra.

Sadly, I found the Syrian destruction many fold. 1) physical 2) historical 3) cultural I was struck by the total absence of any mention of Jews who mainly resided in the city of Aleppo. There was no sign of their past settlement, religious shrines, economic establishments.

New here. Amazing. Thank you for making this..I love learning the REAL about a country! The children were the sweetest! And the historical sites!!! 😱 I cannot believe all beautiful history the locals have preserved during a civil war?!? That is amazing. This entire video is! I love being able to see this, because I’m not sure if a woman would be able to see the sites as easily, as you have! (I am not speaking down on any ppl or religion, but many Middle East countries have different cultures involving women, and I wouldn’t want to disrespect any country or culture like that.) This again, was so informative, and I appreciate your guide, showing real life in Damascus!! Subbed!! ❤
