Is it working on metal surfaces?

That is a great question! I have never tried this method on metal, but if it doesn't work you could also try using a blender pen. 😁

Good information about how the second layer of paint must reactivate the first layer. It always helps to know why something works the way it does.

Too much paint? If it's slopping over the sides of the plate is it too much? 😉 Yes my middle name is too much paint. lol One can see the lovely effects of your light handed approach in your work.

Well that's part of the fun though, isn't it? Slopping that paint around and experimenting is one of my favorite parts!

I have watched a few of your videos, and I am just wondering how you glue down your pieces so nicely? I have a hard time with my collage pieces laying flat without wrinkles, etc. Thank you
@stephaniemartel20 күн бұрын
I totally understand. I think you need to experiment with your papers so you know what weight needs a heavier glue. When I work on index cards, I use a uhu glue stick. When I am doing the larger mixed media collage pieces, I use satin fluid medium. Even still, I get wrinkles on occasion too!

I really like the end result. I saw something the other day, sanding glossy magazine and coffee table books. They have to be glossy and the end result is I retesting, ages the pictures.
