I finally pulled the trigger on a Tube Zipper after seeing your video! Just uploaded a quick jam with it paired to a Behringer Edge synth and a Dynacord tape delay. The envelope filter is as wild as I hoped, and I’m excited to push it further once I get the hang of it. Can’t wait to try it with my guitar and keyboard setup.

Такие цены и всё равно большинство уже продано. Это премиум. К нам такие даже не завозят. Играл в Германии на custom Sadovski bass. Вроде бы скопировали джаз бас, а звук фантастика. Пять тонн. Зелени. Стоит

He used the same tune to demo at the Krank booth from NAMM 2012. Surely he has more material? Why not play some of the songs off his album Full On?

Mike is a humble genius and a world-class luthier!!!! I didn't understand the attraction to MTD basses and always considered the pre-CBS Tobias basses infinitely better(They are AMAZING!!!) and wasn't to keen on the tone of some of the MTD basses I've heard on KZfaq and the high price tag. That all changed after I got my first MTD bass, a Kingston Super 5, that is AMAZING!!!!! Even though it's not a USA MTD, the quality, craftsmanship, tones, and playability are on another level. Hopefully, I'll be blessed to afford a USA 635 but if that doesn't happen, I'm shooting for a Kingston AG6!

Mike is a world-class luthier who employs art and science to create stunning works of art that are used to make music!!! For years I scoffed at MTD basses because of their expense. After watching many KZfaq videos and recently buying a Kingston Super 5, my first MTD, I understand the quality and craftsmanship that Mike puts into his basses. Even though my Kingston Super 5 is not a USA MTD, it's one of the best basses I've ever played and I can definitely see myself buying another MTD, prayerfully a USA model(🙏🙏🙏) or at least a Kingston AG6!!!

Notice the wear on the later maple neck is not like the "reliced" stuff we see. I've never seen such harsh wear marks on really older strats and can't understand why the Custom shops do it.

Some of the greatest music in rock n roll history were played with Norlin era Gibson guitars. I disagree that they don’t sound as good as older Gibsons from the 50s.

Hello and thanks! I have a question: I bought it because I was fascinated by it, it will arrive next week. Where do I put it in the pedal board? Right at the start? After the tuner? After the compressor? or at the end of the chain in your opinion? Do you know that I bought it for my effects that I use for the flute? :)

I just bought one of these today. Even though my bass amp has an “overdrive” function, I wanted to be able to switch between clean and distorted with just a stomp. I don’t regret this purchase one bit. It’s awesome

Before internet guitar buying, you had to deal with weird old guitar guys like Mr Gruhn here to even get close to a decent guitar. You kids don’t know what it was like dealing with “gatekeeper” guitar dudes. Yuck. Good riddance.
