So, I can tell you that you should not mix more than 30% water to your paint even if you’re using medium. Too much water will break down the binders in your paint. Here’s a tip for you to get started pretty cheap. Get some Elmer’s glue all and mix it with water at a 70% glue 30% water ratio. And then mix your paint in to that mixture. You want to use about 2 oz of that mix with 1 oz of paint. You can adjust that mixture by adding more paint or glue to make it thicker or a little more water to make it thinner. Mix it to your desired consistency. I could go on and on about this, but I won’t. Props on posting this vid.

I'm using a product by Gamblin called Galkyd Lite. It's a painting medium that's used to thin oil colors. It has an interesting effect when used with oil pastels, I am still learning what it can do! I will add links to it in my description. Thank you so much for the question!

Ivie Anderson may not be well known today, but she was Duke Ellington’s singer for 11 years. She only retired because of chronic asthma. It Don’t Mean a Thing (If it Ain’t Got That Swing) was recorded in 1932. This clip was filmed in ‘37 without Duke. I Got it Bad (And That Ain’t Good) came out in 1941. There were plenty of hit songs in between. A wonderful entertainer with a remarkable voice - she was a big deal in jazz music during that time.

it is geologically impossible to have tornados on the east coast. we only do hurricanes and tropical storms, we get a shake every 50 yrs or so, but thats it. No damn tornados. Saw one said tornado in the bronx. It was just heavy down pour. Niggas still had a beer in they hand standin outside not even swayin...

Ivie dancing with a big 'butter and eggs man'. Again I ask, why is Ivie almost completely unknown when she was one of the originals. Ella Fitzgerald who took over from Ivie in the Duke's orchestra owed so much of her phrasing and delivery to Ivie (though Ella was the greatest singer of all time) and as such Ivie should be better known.

Don't be surprised if the BLM crowd declares this racist and moves to get it banned. They forced Aunt Jemima off the syrup bottle didn't they?
@anyaw340
@anyaw340 Жыл бұрын
"Banned" from what? Nothing is "banned" by some central authority. Companies make their own decisions about what is and isn't in their best interest. Racism used to be in their best interests; now it is not - much to your disappointment.
@anyaw340
@anyaw340 Жыл бұрын
Also, if Aunt Jemima and this video are the first things that come to mind when you think about the racism that the "BLM crowd" is protesting, be glad that you clearly don't have to worry about racism, as this is the LEAST of their concerns. It's very telling that that the idea of Aunt Jemima being "off the syrup bottle" bothers you more than death and institutional racism does. THAT is what the "BLM crowd" actually focuses on - not these cultural issues that are clearly bother you and the right so much.

It was actually a Tornado, the actual Tornado was F-1 but in the middle around all of the rain (aka a Rain-Wrapped Tornado) plus you can see the winds moving in a circular like way, if it were a Microburst it would move in a straight line
