Yes, it was Beelen. The company split the activities of demolition and recycling and both have new owner. So the demolition activities go on as Adex Groep and recycling as Bnext.nl

I operate excavators for more than 20years, and every one has a machine that has likes/dislikes but in my opinion Kobelco is first for reliabilty and fuel economy. And the total cost of ownership is very good since they are not the most expensive machines, also not the cheapest, somewhere in the middle. There might be machines out there with more fancy cabs. With better infoscreens and easier to adjust things. There might be excavator manufacturers FOR SURE which have found better solutions for things like window wash water, than under the cabin floor. Obviosly the short radius machines like 380 are more asked for because Kobelco builds their 35ton class machine, with a very long upper structure, also the 50ton Maschine where in most applications a Liebherr for example is much more compact. But fuel consumption, the lack of repairs, and in my opinion the feel on the controls are the 3 reasons, why i always would put Kobelco in the first place. Although Liebherr, Case, Hyundai, Doosan are in my opinion also not bad machines, the little time i operated them.

What is expensive, you need them for heavy industrial demolition. The Dehaco / MBI shears have a good price and have big production thanks to the huge cutting force and fast cycle times.

Really a Genius-Machine 👍💪....and for sure absolute very innovative, but i think with 320 tons it`s not the biggest (overall weight ) in the World. Nabekai in Japan use a Kobelco SK-3500 with 335 tons since 2005/2007.
