I grow it outdoors, so a fair bit cooler than room temperature. The cold stimulates the plant to produce sugars so the leaves become sweeter.

Second question I noticed you have foil around your base can you explain why. And do you think the foils are better than buying the stickers they give you.

OMG girl! Get to. The point already! You said “ Like” more times than a valley girl on meth. Maybe you’re a hawk tau girl. So like things slowly. But, this vid could be easily edited to get to the point that viewers are clicking for.

I’m wondering if you factor in the electricity, cost of pods, cost of fertilizer, if it’s worth they money in the long run

Hi! I’ve been having an issue with my orange hat tomatoes having dry, crackling leaves. Not all of them, but about 1/3 across all three plants. I was considering transplanting to soil to see if they do better, my apartment gets a lot of light, so I’m wondering if it might just be too much with the grow light? Just wondering if you have any experience with this. Thanks so much! Love your videos.

You may already know, but if you clip maybe 2 inches down on the top of your basil, it will spread out instead of growing straight up. Sometimes you have to clip it again, and again to keep it from going straight up.

I think the eggplants turn purple when exposed to sunlight. Might be wrong, but ive seen ones that were white where shaded, and purple where exposed. Great video!

Black Socks???!! Genius!!! Awesomeeeeeee video!!!! Love your calm voice. I have been wondering for months what to use to cover the jars once I transfer my herbs out of the Aero & I refuse to paint them. And they look so chic. When i saw the thumb nail, i was like “oh cool, they sell slip- on covers for jars😂!” Thank you!

My light goes on for 15 hours then turns off and I don't know how long it is off during the night but I always turn it back on in the morning, is that the right thing to do or should I leave it for a bit with no sunlight?

Sher, I have had my Aero gardens for 1.5 yrs.... I had NO problems with bugs at all... until.... I made the BIG mistake of pulling out of the dirt, from my outdoor raised garden bed, 7 spinach plants to keep growing over the winter, so I thoroughly washed them & the roots really well, or at least i thought i did, & placed them in aero gardens grow sponges & baskets & placed them in the Aero garden... but somehow, like you said, i began to notice this very sticky or tacky substance on the leaves of my green leafy plants(bell peppers, jalapeno peppers), so much that it didn't just wipe off with rubbing the leaves. Those were in one room... I too had transported potted plants from inside to outside & outside back to inside, (a separate room) for apx 3-4 mos & the pots were all parked close to my Aero gardens.... then shortly after that I started seeing Aphids. I also had 1 garden as my germination station but from time to time would move plants around switching their residence to another garden. YIKES! I tried the very warm water, dawn detergent & baking soda solution that worked well for apx 14 days, then they showed signs of aphid, & eggs again rt in the V of 2 stems where baby leaves were developing. I decided to brutally prune the jalapeno plant to rid the aphids, because i honestly did not want to spray my plants with the neem oil because the label on my bottle says even the vapors are toxic... I don't like the idea of spraying smthg that toxic on my edible veggies... so far with the pruning & deep bleach sanitizing of the garden itself, i haven't seen any aphids! Yay! The plant is deveoping baby leaves, nicely ❤
