It may be hard to hear some of the references, but does that make it a bad piece? - I personally love how it sounds :P and yeah op.10 no. 2 is definitely the most prevalent sounding.

That's not a valid reason to dismiss the work. Humans inevitably "plagiarize" melodies because there's only so many possibilities. It can be polished but that's about it.

one of my favorite things about jacob collier is he has such a profound way of thinking but such a massively childlike way of expressing it and watching him perform live never ceases to make me smile cause he's just himself, and in terms of his music he knows that he's not perfect and it deffinitely shows in his music being rhythmically special, thank you for posting this and have a nice day (and thanks for reading my rant if you do XD)
