13:43 Didn't that guy (who I don't wanna say the name of) wrote The Shakespeare code? I was thinking more of The Unquiet Dead (1 × 03) by Mark Gatiss where Rose and the Ninth Doctor are trapped trying to escape the corpses possessed by the Gelth.

i absolutely loved this episode and loved the Maestro. The only thing I wish is we had a few more episodes of them travelling together before an episode like the devils chord. So we had a bit more of a story and dynamic between doctor and partner

Just watched Babies and the Devil's Cord. OMG I can excuse the making the leader baby a black girl on purpose but come on another They/Them lesson shoved down my throat by Disney in the Devil's Cord... I just want to be entertained, not lectured!!!

By experimenting with WHAT the show is at its core, and retconning the start of that long and legendary series, you alienated a lot of fans. Not to mention “it’s something a male presenting time lord would never understand” comedy gold writing right there! Also I loved seeing David Tennant be belittled like a spoiled child 🙄

Does this mean I can call the timeless child a “fan theory”?

I really loved this story and I have to say Steven Moffat came back with a bang or should I say a boom. I have to say this is Ncuti Gatwa's best story as the 15th Doctor and he gives an outstanding performance. There were a lot of great moments in this story, and I was at the edge of my seat when I first watched this story. I will say Steven Moffat still got it.

I will admit I think this episode is better than Space Babies. I do like the Beatles, and I am a Beatles fan. I do like the callback to Pyramids of Mars I was like that is so Pyramids of Mars. I will admit I am mixed with Maestro, and I think she was intimidating, and I think she could have been written better. There is one thing I need to mention is Ruby's song when Maestro is holding her. Her song sounds like the Trickster's theme from the Sarah Jane Adventures, and I think the Trickster could be making a comeback. I also like there is a twist at the end and that was a really catchy song. If they wanted to do a proper musical episode, they should have done something like Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I will admit I do find this story weak and when I saw the babies in the tubes, I thought we might be dealing with clones. I do like The Doctor and Ruby's chemistry together and they are great together. I will admit the monster was a bit weak, but it had a good twist that it was one of the children.

What always gets me about the Efrafan rabbits is their unique eye colour - is that a result of inbreeding?

This is so good on so many levels. :-) I've added it to the top of my 'Eclectic Doctor Who Favorites' playlist... Thanks for all the work you put into it and thanks for sharing your obvious love and understanding of Doctor Who.

This episode proves my theory - Moffat works best when he is a writer alongside RTD as showrunner. Whilst myself and a good chunk of the fans enjoy his more complex series arcs, it can confuse a lot of fans too, and is very polarising. However, when he writes a handful of episodes alongside RTD's series design, they're always near perfect to masterpieces. He is the writer of every episode that many put in their top 3 - Empty Child/Doctor Dances, Blink and Girl in the Fireplace

Here is my take on a dr who spinoff "Blue Book" Imagine the doctor taking notes and writing a book about morality with an included "field guide to the universe" Along the series, a group of rag-tag conspiracy theorists turn into a genuine group trying to uncover "the secret of the blue book" I can also see unit trying to cease the property for a whole season. Imagine if the field guide also included a tardis seed, which we could see grow and sprout, making them a target for smaller interterrestrial runaways. Mostly its a mystery about who this "mystery book's writer is". A lot more people centric than monster of the week
