colossus tips time - You gain force in 3 ways: getting your attacks blocked (but not parried), parrying your opponent's attacks and you also get 1 stack at the end of every combo. You lose 1 force every time you get hit or armor an attack using it. - On top of the armor, force also slows down the opponent's attacks by 1 frame for each stack: for example if you have 3 stacks, your opponent's 4 frame will come out on frame 7, which is an insanely powerful effect once you start building it up. - If your opponent hits your armor they'll be actionable but not you, even if you free cancelled. What's more, if you did free cancel the attack, the game still remembers you used it even though it got disabled, and the attack becomes a guaranteed parry for your opponent, forcing you to whiff cancel 50/50 to try and save yourself. If you're insane enough though, disabling the free cancel will make the attack unparriable and guarantee you pressure if they hit your armor, so by free cancelling or not you can choose if you want your attack to be safe on whiff or safe on armor hit.

A few of my character suggetions: Colossus: big damage big sword man, has a force mechanic that gives him armor and makes the opponent's attacks slower Atlas: guy with a sword and gravity powers, he has super cool gravity pull combos Assassin: obligatory shill for the character I made but he's well-made don't worry, he's a setplay rushdown with sick combo routes

Yess bog, he's probably my single favorite character to play in yomi and I've played him so much I have a little tip I found to share about him: blud sweep is actually bugged and even though it spawns 3 bluds it only costs 1 blud's worth of health, so by routing into as many blud sweeps as possible in combos then healing from them you can actually heal a bit over time while comboing instead of taking damage
