Q I purchased the hyper deck shuttle. It’s all set up and can record live unedited footage back. I can’t get the device to playback any edited video. I export from camtasia to MP4. I use Adobe media encoder. Why won’t the device recognize the edited video for play back. A video on doing this would be great!

Yep that is the exact reason I do live-switching while recording iso. That way I only have to correct switching mistakes and that saves a lot of post editing time. I also hate post production :) Live switching also saves a lot of time which can make the price lower.

You can record in multitrack all channels if you change to 48 kHz

I'm a little disappointed that there is no SDI output on it... But other than that, it looks decent. What's the latency on the NDIHX output? The e-ink screen is pretty unique.

Did this prior to 2110 using BMD 12G to SDI quad and BMD quad SDI to 12G with a single 12G SDI cable run between the two units. You could also embed your audio into one of the 4 SDI quad inputs. Using the 12G loop through of the 12g Input of the 12g to quad you could also have your 4up monitor.

Hello Petra. I have been hired for the challenge of streaming a tennis tournament live from Spain to a TV station in the UK. I have never done this before and all I have is a DSLR camera that records video, a tripod and a macbook pro. I know I should rent a couple more cameras and tripods, but... Do you think it will cost me a lot of money from my pocket to set up a SRT connection and get it all working properly? Thanks a lot!

I was first also looking at Shure but last October bought a 6 channel EW-DX system with antenna combiner and external antennas. It’s a very nice system and so far has been rock solid. EW-DX is available both in Dante and non-Dante versions. Compared to EW-D, EW-DX is just a bit more luxurious (e.g. e-ink displays), wider frequency range and more advanced remote control options.

NAB and IBC all in the same year. I'm hoping BMD saved some things for "later" so to speak. So that IBC gets some of the new products too. And Freddy Meyer is a truly Portland experience. I have some family across the river in Vancouver, WA and visited them back in Summer 2005. Definitely would like to go back some time.

One thing i think the micro panel could of had was a usb port on the top for a desk light so when your doing a live performance and the lighting isn’t the best you could at least have some type of decent lighting also there looks like the pre cut out for a vga or serial port it just weird to see that over a display port or hdmi template With the replay unit, does it have a telepromoter control like speed editor has?

Good suggestion about the lamp. I use a monitorbar lamp that lights up my workarea for that reason. The lamp would however draw electricity. As it’s designed for wireless work (hint: I would not recommend to be wireless) these things have been stripped out

Tess .. and a very nice Software they developed as well .. it just getin my mind to create a Software like vMix with te abilitys what the Control Software has to combine Cameras from differnt locations to create a 'Show' like a Lecture Class or Conference with remote Guests as well .. awesome .. Kaspar is the best spokesperson for any product 👍but especially for the work on Reactor, the panels and BluePill, the whole Skaarhoj universe. I was always very curious about the willingness allow/let Elgato StreamDeck in the mix. But it's like, raise all the boats, let everyone benefit equally even for a competing product. It's smart.

The micro panel supports 10 plus 10 shift input / sources; if you have a switcher with 20 inputs, you see all of these input? So you can’t access the internal sources such as MP1??

Just assign them to one of the buttons. So yes you can access them, just not more than 20 inputs at a time

You can switch between me’s on the unit. If you are purchasing 4 of these units you might want to upgrade to an advanced panel anyway

I’m not - haha. I’ve decided some time ago that HD is what I would like to focus on primarily. Please note that the enclosure of the Constallation 4K is deeper then the HD model. In other words the mini will become bigger
