Hey just wondering how I get to that trail to walk down there? Trying to fish there thx
@drillnchillfishing10 күн бұрын
I highly suggest looking at Google earth- There is a canoe portage parking lot just east300 yards of the physical dam. You can access the canoe portage street off off of the main strip. The canoe portage has an improved path to how down its steep- strenuous dot be embarrassed if you need a break on your way out. Keep that into consideration when your packing gear. Hike in hike out. I do hope this helps

The song is from the band BUSH. A 90’s Rock band . Known for the songs Come down and glycerin, Played at Woodstock 99, appearances on SNL. Break out album sixteen stone- the song “ Ailen “ is a deeper cut. I Thought the tune was appropriate because of the title and mysterious intro. Appreciate the comments- thank you- Enjoy

When I attended Point back in the 70’s I would ride my bike up to the dam and fish right where you started below the spillway. Used a gold and orange Rapala with a split shot - caught walleyes and pike every cast. Just a shame you couldn’t eat em. Hell you couldn’t stand the smell of them taking them off the line. Glad they got that cleaned up.
