Yes, XCover 7 is a cheaper Xcover 6 Pro, with minor changes. Good they kept battery compatibility. Nice, especially when ordering a lot of them in companies, retail, etc, then companies can save quite a lot of money, and get basically the same performance. But if you want better performance, you will still need to wait. I have XCover Pro ("5"), and I am not sure this is good upgrade for me (yes, both 6 and 7 would be an upgrade, but not that huge). All of them are very well built, and I like the robustness (dropped it on concrete many many times, zero problems. same with dust, water, etc), battery, buttons, etc. The main camera (in "5") is so so, as is screen contrast, and slowdown in low power mode, but otherwise it works nice, has good size, and I like it. I hoped 7 will have a bit better CPU, and upgrade without thinking. I hope they will make XCover 7 Pro, that would actually be real upgrade.

The xcover -serie is a good idea, but maybe they could bring down the size a bit. Not just better to handle, but I would then use less battery also. Samsung, are you listening?

So it's basically an overglorified DAC/AMP that has a functionality of a phone... It's kinda missing a few important features and the software support is unclear to say the least, but for someone like me who's only going to do phone calls, messaging, and content consumption I'd say it's pretty much my perfect daily driver. Nothing more nothing less.

To me, the film footage doesn't look really sharp, maybe the lens wasn't set well, or the lens isn't of good quality.
